Boy do i dissagree with some of the answers to “what are the key internal barriers to getting more value from social media”. Shouldn’t the answers be keeping staff motivated in this environment, allowing time away from screens, not trying to keep up with social media as it is too rapid, but having a core focus on our customers and offering simple ways of connecting with them and monitoring feedback. Why are we chasing the machine? We created it. Truth is we want to be as in focus as our competitors or icons and and somehow forget that failing is the invaluable part of learning. No marketing or social media budget/strategy will deliver exactly what we want. Just try to be simple, i think.

Really interesting, I guess that shows how there can often be a gap between the results people expect from social media and the actuality of trying to get tangible results.. Also love the 8 bit look of this infographic!
