New Google+ Design, Share+ Everywhere

Google have just revealed a new Google+ layout and interface:

As part of the rollout, Google appears to have added new share functionality across a wide range of its different properties:

Google Search:

YouTube:

Gmail:

    I think you’re right in both of your observations in the last question. Google will do anything to “know you better” – and a good way to do so is to get you to share what you like…

    You can share in Google’s village but not with the outside world or the reverse. Open up an API Google+!

    The new share functionality has been there for months. This was added when the rolled out the new “Google” bar at the top….

    I believe that the features of Google + is intended for a social network functionality. In my opinion, the new Google + has a clean and
    crisp layout, just putting all the essentials and I liked it. I’m looking
    forward to what Google + have to offer in the future.

    While it is a social networking functionality, the goal is probably to better understand and profile individuals.  Google is all about making the search experience better and more personalized.  The more data that they have on you, the easier it is to do so.
