A great deck from Brandon Murphy of 22squared, which proposes another way of measuring the ROI of social media:

Return on investment = Return on interaction + Return on influence

And then details the research they conducted which backs-up their theory. Pretty convincing stuff…

    I agree – many people don’t know what they want from social media websites, that is why they don’t have any marketing strategies for it, which leads to dead end!! But sometimes we have to experiment, don’t we? When we come to dead ends, there is always a chance to go a little bit backwards and choose another road.
