    come on people, maybe getting a little bit ahead of ourselves here. The industrial revolution (amongst other things) delivered synchronized time on a global scale – the tech. revolution might have an argument, but not social media (as important a step in human communication as it could prove to be).

    A bit annoying this is…
    We've seen videos like this for years now, all very well made with a scary soundtrack. But the facts?
    39 years for radio to reach 50 million users; May I add that those were actual dedicated listeners to one/ten broadcasters? The impact on events was much bigger compared to the current completely fragmented media without any profound cultural bonding.
    Or do we really believe technology makes a culture?
    Bollocks, it's remarkable people that do that. Whatever media is used.
    All the connected world CAN do is make things travel faster. But that doesn't mean the message is any more powerful.
